The wine region
A terroir created for quality wine production
The Collio lies between the Adriatic sea and the Julian Alps, a charming area in northeast Italy characterized by his unique landscapes and his mild climate, made famous by his suitability for winemaking, especially great white wines.
The ponka, a mixture of marl and sandstone of eocene origin, created by millennia of sedimentation grants the wines their unmistakable characteristics, especially freshness and minerality. On this solid foundation Blazic family tends to their vineyards, 7 hectares in total, with skill and passion. Modern technologies and machinery are employed to ensure maximum respect towards our environment, preserving the beautiful landscape and the biodiversity.
