Zegla project

Zegla is an extremely small portion of land in Cormons village territory, representing one of the most suited regions for white grape growing.

Project Zegla was born here in 2012 by the hands of three young local winemakers: Michele Blazic, Tereza Keber and Kristian Keber. They redacted a true regulation containing strict production guidelines, aiming to an extreme quality research for a wine able to represent at best the most authentic expression of its terroir. The grapes, 100% Tocai Friulano, are harvested only from vineyards located on the Zegla hill. After an accurate selection of the best grapes, they are left in contact with their skins for three days, starting a spontaneous fermantation.

The wine is then aged for 2\3 years in oak barrels and the bottles are sold after the fifth year after the harvesting.
Zegla is a selection produced only in the best vintages.
The bottle has a label common for the three wineries to highlight its origin as a project, going over the normal wine production.
Blazic winery produces 800 75cl bottles and 20 magnum each vintage.
